On Wednesday 14, November, Gammasonics was honored as winner of the Ethnic Business Awards of 2007.

The award was presented in the presence of His Excellence Major General Michael Jeffery, Spanish Ambassador His Excellence Antonio Cosano, Chairman of Etcom Jospeh Assaf, Judges and other Distinguished guests.

The 19th annual Ethnic Business Awards recognises and celebrates the contribution of migrants to the economic development of Australia.

Like every year, the quality of entrants in 2007 was outstanding. Nominations came from every corner of the country, spanning many industry sectors, representing a diverse number of nationalities.

Judging for the awards considers a number of criteria, including business creativity and innovation, potential for growth, the overcoming of significant cultural and linguistic barriers and the creation of employment opportunities.

As Australia continues to build on its multicultural foundation, the Ethnic Business Awards can only grow with it, with the telling of the compelling and inspiring stories of what this country is built on – migration.
